Conformity criteria reporting (DMR54601)

This panel displays all the criteria and valid values within the conformity group to which the non-conforming item is connected. The panel is only accessed if the DET-CRIT (Detail criterion panel) function is activated in the Function control file. Depending on the set-up of the conformity criteria, this panel may display the following:

  • If criteria values have been pre-defined and the Only def values field is set to YES in the Conformity criteria table, all pre-defined values will be displayed on this panel. The Conf field is set to YES for all values that have been defined as conforming in the Conformity criteria table.
  • If criteria values have been pre-defined and the Only def values field is set to NO in the Conformity criteria table, the pre-defined values will be displayed but you are able to insert new lines with additional values that you want to report. Whether or not the reported values are conforming or non-conforming is defined in the Conforming field on the Work with item conformity criteria, Values panel. Values that do not exist in that table will be regarded as non-conforming.
  • If a range of values is defined in the Conformity criteria table, this panel will display the specified range. If you report values inside the specified range, these will be regarded as conforming. Reported values outside of the range will be regarded as non-conforming.
  • If a plug-in program is defined for the criterion, this panel displays the conformity values and quantities that are generated by the plug-in program. An asterisk is also displayed indicating that the value has been returned from a plug-in program.

If rejected quantities are reported during the quality control, a non-conformity certificate that is based upon the reported quantities will be created. This ceritificate will have to be confirmed at the end of the quality reporting. Note: If this panel is accessed from the operation reporting, or from the conformity criteria reporting for batch or serial number items, no NCC will be created.

All reported values are saved in the Quality control history file in which enquiries can be made.

Options

Insert line This option is only valid if the Only def values field is set to NO in the Conformity criteria table. Select this option to insert a new line on which you can report values that are not pre-defined. The new line will be inserted after the last currently existing value for the selected criterion.
Text Select this option to enter text for the non-conformity criteria.

Reporting fields

The following fields are displayed for all panels:

Seq
Displays the sequence number of the conformity criterion.
Crit
Displays a code from the Item conformity criteria table. All criteria belonging to the conformity group of the item will be displayed.
Description/Range
Displays a description of the conformity criterion and the values connected to the criterion. If the criterion is of type range, the range values are displayed.
Conf
This field is set to YES indicating that a value is conforming in the following cases:

  • The reported value is pre-defined as conforming in the Conformity criteria table, and the Only def values field is set to YES.
  • The reported value is within the range that is defined in the Conformity criteria table.

Note: No NCC will be created for values that are conforming.

Value/Unit
If the criteria is defined with a range, the unit description is displayed. If the criteria is defined with values, value is displayed. Depending on the set-up of the conformity criteria that is connected to the item in question, several scenarios may apply for the Value:

  • If criteria values have been pre-defined and the Only def values field is set to YES in the Conformity criteria table, all pre-defined values will be displayed on this panel. The Conf field is set to YES for all values that have been defined as conforming in the Conformity criteria table. Note: You can only report quantities for pre-defined values.
  • If a plug-in program is defined for the criterion, this field displays the conformity values that are generated by the plug-in program. The quantity that is reported will be defaulted for this line. An asterisk is also displayed indicating that the value has been returned from a plug-in program.
Quantity
Enter the number of items that correspond to the criterion value. If the value for which you report a quantity is defined as non-conforming, this quantity will be added to the NCC.
