Portfolio closing (FKR35001)

Related topics

This program handles the closing of portfolio documents, and updates the status to 4. Only portfolio types with Consolidated closing set to NO are handled, since closing is performed at bank confirmation if Consolidated closing is YES.

The bills that have been remitted to the bank for encashing or discounting can be cancelled until you run this routine. It is important that the payment from the debtor is received at our bank, before you close the bill. If the debtor fails to pay, the bank will return the bill, upon which you can take action. Due payment, however, is normally not confirmed by the bank. Your company must then assume that payment has taken place after a number of buffer days for bank handling, defined in Work with banks. If no buffer days have been defined for the bank, the system will use twenty days. The system calculates the closing day from due date, or, if later, the payment date.

When you run this routine, the system will close the portfolio documents, update status and print a list of all closed bills and also print a log list.
