Delete a sales order allocation proposal

The following describes how to delete an allocation proposal. Note: This does not delete the sales order lines that are included in the proposal, they are only removed from it. The sales order lines contained in the deleted proposal can later be included in a new one. If you want to delete the sales order lines see Delete a sales order line or entire sales order.

Prerequisites
In order to be able to complete this example, you must have deleted the allocated quantity on every sales order line (to learn how to delete an allocated quantity see step 3 in Enter or change the allocated quantity on a sales order allocation proposal line). If this is not done the proposals will not be deleted.

  1. Select the Work with sales order allocation menu item.
  2. On the initial panel, select the proposals that you wish to delete and click Details.
  3. You access Work with sales order allocation, All lines. Select the proposals that you wish to delete and click Delete.
  4. You access Work with sales order allocation, Deletion. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
  5. You return to the Work with sales order allocation, All lines panel again, but without the proposals that were deleted.

    6. If you want to create a new sales order allocation proposal, follow the instructions in Create a sales order allocation proposal for allocated items or Create a sales order allocation proposal for non-allocated items.
