This panel displays the mediums of communication, referred to as client types, that exist in your system.

Client types
Options
Activate | Select this option to activate the client type for the user/contact. |
Inactivate | Select this option to inactivate the client type for the user/contact. |
Include | Only applicable if DC1 Alert Management is activated. Select this option to include event types for the client type. Note: In enquiry mode, you will only be able to view included event types. |
Exclude | Only applicable if DC1 Alert Management is activated. Select this option to exclude event types from the client type. Note: In enquiry mode, you will only be able to view excluded event types. |
Selection fields
- User/Contact
- Displays the ID and name of the user/contact that you are maintaining. This field name will vary, depending on from where you accessed this panel.
- Client type
- This column lists the existing client types from the Work with client types table.
- Description
- Displays the description of the client type.
- Active
- Indicates if the client type is activated for the user/contact.
- Send
- Only displayed if DC1 Alert Management is installed and activated. Indicates if the message should be sent immediately to the client type. This information is defined in the Work with client types table for each client type.
- I/E
- Only displayed if DC1 Alert Management is installed and activated. If one or several event types have been selected for Inclusion or Exclusion for the client type, then an I or E will be displayed in this column.
