Related topics

In this program you maintain system values. A system value is an application control parameter that controls the behaviour of the system. Each system value has a specific purpose.

For a more detailed description of the shipped system values, see the DC1 Technical Implementation Guide available on the Iptor Intranet.

System value
Enter the system value code.
System value group
Enter a group from Work with system value groups.
Subset
Enter the subset code. The following values apply:

Code Description
0 System
1 Project

All shipped system values belong to subset standards. The purpose of the project subset is to contain all customer project specific system values.

Description
Enter a short description of the system value.
Current value
Mandatory entry if valid values have been specified. Enter the current value of the system value. The following validation is performed:

  1. The length of the value cannot exceed the specified value in the system value length field.
  2. If there are some valid values specified, the current value must be equal to one of those and cannot contain any special characters.
Length
Enter the maximum length of the system value. The maximum length cannot exceed 20 characters.
Valid values
Enter the set of valid values of the system value. These values must only be specified if the system value is to have specific predefined valid values (e.g., 1 for YES and 0 for NO). The valid values must be separated with a comma and without any blanks between them (for example 0,1 means that only the values 0 or 1 are allowed).
Long description
Enter an additional description of the system value.
