In this program you maintain system values. A system value is an application control parameter that controls the behaviour of the system. Each system value has a specific purpose.

- System value
- Enter the system value code.
- System value group
- Enter a group from Work with system value groups.
- Subset
- Enter the subset code. The following values apply:
Code Description 0 System 1 Project All shipped system values belong to subset standards. The purpose of the project subset is to contain all customer project specific system values.
- Description
- Enter a short description of the system value.
- Current value
- Mandatory entry if valid values have been specified. Enter the current value of the system value. The following validation is performed:
- The length of the value cannot exceed the specified value in the system value length field.
- If there are some valid values specified, the current value must be equal to one of those and cannot contain any special characters.
- Length
- Enter the maximum length of the system value. The maximum length cannot exceed 20 characters.
- Valid values
- Enter the set of valid values of the system value. These values must only be specified if the system value is to have specific predefined valid values (e.g., 1 for YES and 0 for NO). The valid values must be separated with a comma and without any blanks between them (for example 0,1 means that only the values 0 or 1 are allowed).
- Long description
- Enter an additional description of the system value.
