Note: This panel may be displayed in either Maintenance or Enquiry mode. In Enquiry mode, the panel title is Package reporting enquiry, Packages, and only certain options and function keys are available.
On this panel all of the packages connected to your pick list or shipment are listed.
This program is used for registering all of the packaging that is used to pack and transport the goods, from the moment they are picked to the time they are delivered.
Options
Add | Select this option to add a record. |
Change | Select this option to change a record. |
Copy | Select this option to copy a record. |
Display | Select this option to view a record. |
Lines | Select this option to view/work with the lines. |
Select this option to print labels and specifications for a package. |
Function keys
Re-number | Re-number the internal package numbers. The re-numbering may require that new package labels are printed. |
Confirm | Confirm the package line(s). |
Pack by item/unit | Specify if the goods will be packed by item/unit. This information will be used when calculating the total weight and volume for an outbound shipment. |
Selection fields
- Shipment number
- Displays the shipment number. Note: This field is only displayed if a shipment was selected on the previous panel.
- Picklist number
- Displays the pick list number. Note: This field is only displayed if a pick list was selected on the previous panel.
- Customer
- Displays the customer code.
- Address number
- Displays a code from the Business partner file, Address file panel indicating the customer’s delivery address.
- Package number
- This column displays the package number.
- Type
- This column displays the code from the Package type table denoting the type of package used in this transaction.
- Weight
- This column displays the weight of the package.
- Volume
- This column displays the volume of the package.
- Marking
- This column displays the package marking (i.e. a description of the package), if any was defined.
- Conf
- This column indicates if the package has been confirmed.
Work with package reporting, Pack information header (DIR33704)
Note: This panel may be displayed in either Maintenance or Enquiry mode. In Enquiry mode, the panel title is Package reporting enquiry, Pack information header, and the function key is not available.
From this program you can add information to the pack information header.
Function keys
Accumulate weight/volume | Calculate the weight and volume of the packaging. |
- Shipment number
- Displays the shipment number.
- Picklist number
- Displays the pick list number.
- Customer
- Displays the customer code.
- Address number
- Displays a code from the Business partner file, Address file panel indicating the customer’s delivery address.
- Package number
- Displays the package number. Note: If you are adding a new record it is possible to enter a custom package number as long as it is outside the normal number series range. If a value is not entered then the system will automatically supply the package number.
- Package type
- Enter a code from the Package type table to identify the type of package used in this transaction.
- Weight
- Displays the weight of the package. Note: This value is only displayed if you click the Accumulate weight/volume function key.
- Volume
- Displays the volume of the package. Note: This value is only displayed if you click the Accumulate weight/volume function key.
- Package marking
- Enter a description of the package.
- Confirmed
- This field is set to NO by default. Set this field to YES to confirm the package. Note: Confirmed packages cannot be changed or deleted.
- Pack number
- Displays the Pack number. This is a running number that is numbered from 1 up to 999 that tells in which order the packages were created. This number will be used on package labels and on bill of lading labels to make it easier to find correct package during labelling.
- Pack date
- Displays date that the goods were packed.

- Package number
- Displays the package number.
- Type
- Displays a code from the Package type table identifying the type of package used in this transaction.
- Marking
- Displays the package marking.
- Specifications
- Set this field to YES to print the package specifications. Set it to NO to exclude them from the printout.
- Labels
- Set this field to YES to print the package labels. Set it to NO if you do not wish to print them.
