The program is used to retrieve the compile time text table entries in program source members, to a database file. This file can then be maintained in the Maintain CTT translation file program and by translating the compile time text into another language, you can override the texts from the programs with the translated texts when the programs are used.
- Source file
- Enter the source file name where the source file member is stored.
- Library
- Enter the library where the source file is stored.
- Member
- Enter the source member name of the program with the compile time table text. If you enter *ALL, all members in the source file will be searched through.
- Language
- Enter a valid code from the Language table to define the language in which the compile time table text is written. This will be the language from which the text will be translated.
- Subset
- For new entries, enter the subset to which the panel value belongs. For existing entries, displays the name of the subset to which the panel value belongs. Note: You can either enter *DFT or a specific subset. When using *DFT, the subset will be retrieved from the Application table based on each object’s application code. If you enter a specific subset that is secured in the Subset table, you must sign on as a user with the same authority as the system administrator.
- Identity
-
Note: If Subset entered is *DFT then Identity is set to blank if the subset retrieved per object is equal to *STANDARD or *STDDELTA. Otherwise it is retrieved from the Application table.
- PTF/Mod number
-
Note: If Subset entered is *DFT then PTF and modification number are set to blank if the subset retrieved per object is equal to *STANDARD or *STDDELTA. Otherwise they are retrieved from the Application table.
