Enter attributes for windows (WNDD1051)

On this panel you define information regarding all windows in the system.

Window attributes

In the three fields below you enter different text attributes.

‘More’
Enter the text which should indicate that there is more information in the window, i.e. the scroll keys can be used.
‘Bottom’
Enter the text which should indicate that no more information exists in the window, i.e. the bottom is reached.
‘Key’
Enter the text that should indicate the field where text can be entered to search for a record in the window.
Position on top
Set this field to YES if you want the cursor to be placed at the top of the window. Set it to NO if you want the cursor to be placed at the Key field.
Border color
Enter any character that you want to be displayed in the border of the window. This field is eight positions in length. Click the following link to see in which position each character will be displayed in the window:

Permitted values:

1 Upper left corner
2 Upper frame
3 Upper right corner
4 Right frame
5 Bottom right corner
6 Bottom frame
7 Bottom left corner
8 Left frame

Window display attributes

In the fields below you set the HI (High intense), RI (reverse image) and UL (underline) columns to YES or NO to indicate how the different attributes should be displayed in the windows.

Border
Set this field to YES or NO in the HI/RI/UL columns to define the image of the border.
Title
Set this field to YES or NO in the HI/RI/UL columns to define the image of the title in the window. The title is the text entered in the Window description field in the Maintain window definition program. The title is displayed at the top of the window.
Heading 1
Set this field to YES of NO in the HI/RI/UL columns to define the first heading in the windows. The first heading is the text entered on the first line in the Column Headings field in the Maintain window definition program.
Heading 2
Set this field to YES of NO in the HI/RI/UL columns to define the second heading in the windows. The second heading is the text entered on the second line in the Column Headings field in the Maintain window definition program.
Key delimiter char
Enter the character to separate the key values in a key that contains several fields.

Example:

The key delimiter character is defined to ¤. The account window has two keys – account part number and account number. If you search for an account called AKND with account part number 1, you can enter 1¤AKND. This will position the window to the right account number.
