This panel is used to configure the subsidiary tiers of a supplier structure, once the Holding company for this has been set up. This routine is accessed via the Structure option in the previous panel.
Those suppliers that have other suppliers connected to them at a lower level than themselves are termed Parent companies. The pricing structure can be set up for Parent companies in the same manner as for a Holding company, which allows for a purchase price to be allocated to the parents, which will be common for all those suppliers that are at a lower level. From this panel you are able to add either several Parent suppliers to the secondary tier of the Holding company, or additional suppliers that are on a level lower than the Parent companies.

| Add level 1 | Select this option to add a new supplier – at level 1 of the supplier structure tier. |
| Add, new lvl | Select this option to establish a new structure of companies or business partners that fall under this parent company. To assign a supplier on this same level, that record should have been previously marked as being a Parent company. |

Selection fields
- Holding company
- This field displays the supplier name of the Holding companies that you are currently configuring a supplier structure for.
- Supplier
- Under this column heading a description of each of the Parent companies that have already been established, is listed.
- Name
- Under this column heading the name of each of the corresponding Parent companies that have already been established, is listed.
Work with supplier structures, Supplier detail (GDMD42604)
The details entered herein will be used in determining the best purchase price of items. This panel is accessed via the following options: Change, Add, same lvl or Add, new lvl in the Work with supplier structure, Supplier (GDMD42601) panel.
This panel is used to enter specific information that relates to the subsidiary suppliers, classed in level from Parent company and lower.
- Holding company
- Displays the supplier name of the Holding company that you are currently working with.
- Parent company
- This field displays the supplier name of the Parent company you are currently working with. This is display field only and cannot be changed.
- Level
- This field indicates the level at which the supplier is to be classed. Since you are able to either select the option to add a supplier on the same level as a Parent company, or lower, this is a dynamic field that will change depending on the option that you selected in the previous panel. This field is therefore only displayed in display mode and may never be manually changed. The number displayed in this field indicates how many levels below the Holding company this suppliers is classed.
- Supplier
- Enter a valid supplier number from the Business partner file. This supplier will then be added to the structure on a level that will correspond with the option that you selected in the previous panel. For example, either on the same level as the Parent company, or on a level lower. Only those records that are of type 2 may be selected. This is a mandatory field and may be changed for existing records.
- Parent
- Set this field to YES if you wish the supplier you are currently allocating to the structure to be a Parent company. If this option is selected, subsidiary suppliers may in turn be added to this supplier. This is a mandatory field and may be changed for existing records.
- Structure pricing
- Under this sub-heading, the details that relate to how the purchase price is retrieved when a purchase order line is created for one of the suppliers that belongs to this structure. These fields are only displayed if the supplier you are configuring has been marked as a Parent company, by means of YES, in the field above. These are not mandatory fields.
- Stop search
- If you wish the system to only search for a purchase price at this level (and not proceed to lower levels) then enter a YES. This option will then override other prices when an order is created for a lower level supplier.
Work with supplier structures, Suppliers, Copy (GDMD42605)
This panel displays the records that were selected for copy in the previous panel.
- New supplier
- Enter the number of the supplier that you wish to add to the structure and click OK to confirm this.
Work with supplier structures, Suppliers, Deletion (GDMD42608)
This panel displays the individual suppliers or supplier structures that you have selected for deletion in the previous panel. Click OK to confirm the deletion of these records.
