- Printer queue
- If a printer control output exists, this field will hold the value *CTL, and the settings from the Print control will be used for this printout. Click Printer control by function to access a program from where you can run the simulation, maintain the access control and output controls.
If no printer control output exists, this field will hold the output queue defined in your iSeries user profile. The value in this field may be changed. Another printer may be selected.
- Number of copies
- Leave this field blank to receive the number of copies set up in the Printer control, output controls routine. If the printer queue was changed from *CTL this field must be completed. Enter the number of printouts that are required.
- Hold before print
- These settings are retrieved from the Printer control, output controls routine as long as the printer queue is *CTL. If the printer queue was changed from *CTL this field must be completed. A NO setting means that a printout will be generated as soon as the printer is available. If this field is set to YES, the printout will be held in the output queue. To release these the system commands WRKSPLF or WRKOUTQ must be entered.
- Save after print
- This field is only displayed if the printout program allows saving after print. These settings are retrieved from the Printer control, output controls routine as long as the printer queue is *CTL. If the printer queue was changed from *CTL this field must be completed. Indicate if you want to save the file after printing.
- Remarks
- This field is only displayed if the printout program allows remarks. Enter text or comments that will be printed on the cover page. If this field is left blank, your user id will be printed.
