On this panel you can view the DC1 Messages in the following modes:
- all messages
- non-translated messages
- translated messages
All messages can be translated into any valid language defined in the Language table. Two different panels could be accessed when you choose to translate:
- If you choose to translate a field message, where suffix is 00 and position 30-31 is numeric, you will access the Translate field messages panel where you translate the field name and select the standard field messages for which the translation will apply.
- If you choose any other message, you will access the normal Work with DC1 message translations panel where you translate the text.
Options
Translate | Select this option to translate a record. Tip: First click Translate to select the language into which the message is to be translated. |
Function keys
First/Second level | This function key can be used when you have clicked Change mode to view all non-translated messages. Toggle between viewing messages for which the first level of the text has been translated, or messages for which either the first or the second levels have been translated. |
Change to language | Select the language into which you want to translate the message. |
Change mode | Toggle the following modes: Display all messages, Display non-translated messages, Display translated messages. |
Selection fields
- From language
- Displays the source language of the message.
- To language
- Displays the target language into which the message will be translated. Note: Use the Change to language function key to change the target language.
- Message Id
- Displays the id of the message text.
- Subset
- Displays the subset to which the message belongs.
- Message Text
- Displays the message text.
