This is the header panel for the Item classification profile 1 entity of the grouping structure.
You add the profile 1 codes, connecting them to a Group and subsequently a Main group. You then select the Characteristics option to attach/detach the characteristics applicable to/from the Profile 1 code. The characteristics displayed are those that have been attached for the connected item classification group entity (in the Work with item classification groups, Characteristics panel). The values for the characteristics can be:
- entered as default values, (select the Characteristics option and then the Default values option on the Work with profiles, Characteristics panel), for each characteristic. They will be retrieved when you go through the process of applying the Item classification definition to create the item
- or on the fly when applying the Item classification definition to create the item.

Selection fields
- Item classification profile 1
- The name of this column depends on what has been set up in the DIS control keys file for the Item related key that was chosen to represent the Item classification profile 1 entity (defined in the DIS control file). This column lists the Item classification profile 1 codes connected to the Group/Main group in the grouping structure.
- Description
- This column lists the description of the Item classification profile 1 code.
- Group
- The name of this column depends on what has been set up in the DIS control keys file for the Item related key that was chosen to represent the Group entity of the grouping structure (defined in the DIS control file). This column lists the group group to which the profile 1 is connected.
- Main group
- The name of this column depends on what has been set up in the DIS control keys file for the Item related key that was chosen to represent the Main group entity of the grouping structure (defined in the DIS control file). This column lists the main group to which the group is connected.
Work with item classification profiles (DMR10304)
On this panel you add the profile 1 codes, connecting them to a group (which will retrieve the main group to which the group is connected).
- Item classification profile 1
- The name of this field depends on what has been set up in the DIS control keys file for the Item related key that was chosen to represent the Item classification profile 1 entity (defined in the DIS control file). Enter a unique code that will identify the new record you are creating.
- Group
- The name of this field depends on what has been set up in the DIS control keys file for the Item related key that was chosen to represent the Group entity of the grouping structure (defined in the DIS control file). Enter the group to which the Item classification profile 1 should be connected.
- Main group
- The name of this column depends on what has been set up in the DIS control keys file for the Item related key that was chosen to represent the Main group entity of the grouping structure (defined in the DIS control file). The system retrieves the main group to which the group is connected.
