Work with DI documents, External document codes (ECND11504)
The purpose of this table is to give the possibility to translate values in the DI files fields.
Note: The information in this table is only used in the standard DC1 programs when internal mapping is done.
The DI ORDERS document file (SROORDERS2) contains a field called Party qualifier 1 (E2PQU1). For all records in this file, the value “SU” the Party qualifier 1 field should be changed (translated) to “SUP”, before sending the file through, for example, the EDI enabler.
This is done by defining the following information for the selected DI document/DI document subtype/method/method subtype:

- DC1 field
- Enter the name of the field in the DI file for which you want to translate a value. For example, E2PQU1 in the DI ORDERS file (SROORDERS2).
Note: The information in this table is not used in the standard DC1 programs. To use the information in the table, modifications have to be done in the external I/O modules.
- DC1 code
- Enter the value you want to translate. For example, if the field E2PQU1 contains value “SU” and “SU” should be translated to “SUP”, enter SU in this field.
- External code
- Enter the translated value. For example, if the field E2PQU1 contains value “SU” and “SU” should be translated to “SUP”, enter SUP in this field.
- Description
- Enter any text describing the translation.
Work with DI documents, External document codes – Copy (ECND11505)
On this panel you can create a new external document code by copying an existing.
- New field
- Enter the name of the new DC1 field.
- New code
- Enter the name of the new code.
Work with DI documents, External document codes – Deletion (ECND11510)
On this panel you can delete the selected external document code. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
