On this panel you enter service and insurance information for the asset. It is necessary that this information is completed for all assets in the Asset file. Depending on the option and default setup you have chosen, some fields may already be completed. Some may also be protected, i.e. the cursor will by-pass them when you work your way through the fields.
Note: The default values defined for the template overrides the default values that would otherwise have been retrieved from the tables.

- Last warranty date
- Enter the expiration date of the warranty for the asset. The warranty control list can be used to analyse the warranty situation of your assets.
Service
In the fields below you enter service related information for the asset. If used, you may print lists with aggregate service information, derived either from service or from asset information.
- Service contract
- Enter the service contract for this asset. The contract must exist in Work with service contracts.
- Service company
- Enter the service company for this asset. The company must exist in Work with service companies and it must be the company defined for the service contract you have entered.
Comments
On the lines at your disposal, you can enter comments regarding the service of the asset. Click More comments – Service to access the extended comments entry function should you need more lines.
Insurance
In the fields below you enter insurance related information for the asset. If used, you may print lists with aggregate insurance information, derived either from insurance or from asset information.
- Insurance policy
- Enter the insurance policy for this asset. The policy must exist in Work with insurance policies.
- Insurance company
- Enter the insurance company for this asset. The company must exist in Work with insurance companies and it must be the company defined for the insurance policy you have entered.
- Insurance value
- Enter the insurance value for the asset in system currency. The insurance value will be revaluated for analysis on the insurance lists and on the asset revaluation list.
- Index period
- Enter the index base period for insurance value revaluation.
- Insurance index
- Enter the index from Work with indexes that will be used when revaluating the insurance value for this asset.
