This panel displays the combinations of real attribute and key values that have been set up for the user defined table. These values are used in configurator formulas for calculations of material usage, times per operation and additional prices. User defined tables can also be used in cost model equations to define margin/mark-up of costs to set price of a configurable item.
Note: The column headings on this panel differ depending on the keys, attributes and value text that have been defined on the User defined table maintenance panel.
For each combination of values, a calculation value is also specified. When the user defined table is referenced in a formula, the system will search for the defined attribute and key value combination and use the specified value in the calculation of the formula.
Example:
This example describes how to set up the details for a user defined table that is used to calculate values that are dependent on configurator attributes. The keys that have been selected for this example are Parent item and Configurator attribute, and the selected attribute is Colour. The following values are defined:
Key 1 (=Parent item) | Key 2 (=Colour) | Value (=Factor) |
---|---|---|
Desk | Blue | 1,000 |
Desk | Yellow | 1,126 |
Desk | Black | 1,000 |
This table defines the consumption of paint depending on the selected colour. More paint is needed for the colour yellow than for the colours black and blue. If this table is referenced in a formula from the bill of material for the parent item, the system will search through the list of item/colour combinations and use the value that has been defined when calculating the quantities for the BOM.
Options
Selection fields
- Table
- The code that identifies the user defined table.
- Valid from
- The date indicates from when the table is valid.
- Key 1-2
- The values for the primary and secondary keys that are defined for the table. Note: This column heading differs depending on the keys that have been defined on the User defined table maintenance panel.
- Value
- The value for the key combination. When a user defined table is referenced in a formula, this value is used in the calculation of the formula if the specified key value combination is found in the formula search. Note: This column heading differs depending on the value text that has been defined on the User defined table maintenance panel.
