Create a menu item

1. Access the Work with menu items routine.
2. Access Add mode and assign the name of the menu item and subset.

   Complete the Description, the Command to execute this menu item and Application code. Note: For a menu item that is to call a program, you can enter command CALL PGM(ASGC800) and then press F4 to access a prompt panel where you define each parameter separately.

   If the subset requires the Identity, PTF and Modification number, enter this information.

   The Menu mode is set to 0 by default, meaning that the menu item is valid both for 5250 and DC1 UI Client menus. If you want it to only be valid for 5250 menus, enter 1. If you want it to only be valid for DC1 UI Client menus, enter 2.
