This program gives you the possibility of creating shortcuts to other functions even when there are no available function keys. If you do not have DC1 System Authority, then you can only maintain certain settings for your own user profile. However, you can display the settings for the default user *ALL.
Function keys
Change user | Change the user. Note: If you do not have DC1 System Authority you can only change to your own user profile. If this is the first time that this option is selected for a user for this program, then the panel will be emptied. Click Retrieve and update defaults to retrieve the default settings from user *ALL. |
Change to default user | The default user is *ALL. This function key is only displayed if another user than *ALL has been selected. Change to the default user. |
Retrieve and update defaults | This function key is only displayed if another user than *ALL has been selected. If the user has been changed from *ALL to an individual user for this program, then the panel is empty the first time it is accessed. Use this function key to retrieve the default settings from user *ALL. |
Selection fields
- Program/format
- Displays the program name and record format for which the function list is maintained.
- User
- Displays the user for whom the function list is maintained.
- Fnc
- This column lists the sequence numbers of the functions.
- Code
- Displays the program code name for the function.
- Description
- Displays the description of the program function code.
- F-key
- Displays the key number for the function, if a key is assigned.
- Text
- Displays the text that is entered for the function key.
- Subset
- Displays the subset for the function.
Program function key maintenance (ASGD56104)
On this panel you maintain the functions in the function list available on the panel of the selected program.
Note: To create new and maintain all settings you must have DC1 System Administrator authority.
Function keys
Copy | Copy the record to another subset. |
Authority | This function key is not displayed in Add/Copy mode. Only available if an authority group is entered and the group is activated in the Authority group table. This function key will take you to the Authority group table maintenance, Secured objects panel where you can connect an object to the specified group. |
- Program name
- Displays the program name for which the function list is being maintained.
- Record format
- Displays the record format for which the function list is maintained.
- Function type
- Displays the function type and cannot be changed.
- User
- Displays the name of the user/group profile for which the function list is being maintained.
- Function code
- Enter the program code for the function.
- Function sequence
- Enter the sequence number for the function. Note: The Function sequence number and the Function key number should be identical if possible. Note: The *LIST function code (Display list of functions) must have sequence number 80, and the *MAINT function code (Maintain program functions) must have sequence number 81.
- Function text
- Enter the description of the function.
- Function key
- Enter the key number to which the function should be assigned. The F-key will be available in the panel of the program for which you are maintaining the function list. Note: The following function keys are reserved in DC1, and cannot be user-defined: F1, F3, F4, F5, F11, F12. Likewise, F13-F24 cannot be used as they are reserved for Enquiries. Maintain individual user settings for Program function key handling for further details and an example on how to re-assign an F-key. Note: If this field is blank, then the only access will be through the function list.
- Function key text
- Enter the text that should be displayed in the panel, for example F8=Address. The following conditions apply to the layout:
- The letter must be an F (capital F)
- The F must be followed immediately by the numbers entered in the Function key field, i.e. no spaces are allowed.
- The above mentioned syntax must be followed immediately by an = (equal sign)
- Text must be entered right after the =, i.e. no spaces are allowed after the =.
Note: If this field is blank, then the only access will be through the function list.
- Application
- Enter the application to which the function should belong.
- Authority group
- Enter a code from the Authority group table to indicate the authority group for the function.
- Authority routine
- Enter a code from the Authority routine table to indicate the routine to which the function belongs and that should be under authority control.
- Authority object
- If defined, displays the object that is connected to the authority group (must exist in the SRBACO file).
- Subset
- Mandatory entry. Enter the subset for the function. The subset must exist in Work with subsets.
- Identity
- Enter the identity of the function.
- PTF/Mod number
- Enter the PTF and modification number for the function, if required by the subset.
