This panel displays the item attribute templates that have been attached to the item. Multiple templates can be attached to each item as required. When connecting the templates and subsequently defining the field values, thereby dictating the search criteria for the field, you have two alternatives. You can:
- Connect the applicable templates one at a time and subsequently define the field values by clicking the Add option, or
- Click the Sequential add function key (only valid for templates that are configured with a Default sequence number), which will display the templates and associated fields in sequential order.
The default sequence number for the template also determines the order in which the template and its associated search attributes will be displayed when the user accesses Attribute search mode.

When you access this panel in add mode, only the Attribute template field is displayed. Upon completion and pressing enter, the labels for the template fields are displayed for input of values. In change mode you can change any value.
Up to ten fields may appear on this panel. You define the search criteria by entering the values for each field. The entry rules for each value entered is controlled by the associated template field attributes. Entry of a value in each field is not mandatory. For an alphanumeric field it is only mandatory to enter a value if a validation table is defined for the template field in the template set-up. For a numeric field it is only mandatory to enter a value if a range is defined (and zero (0) is not a part of the range). Range or validation table entries, if entered, will be used to validate the entered values.
