Maintain create command defaults (ASTD2041)

This panel displays the existing table records that have been set up in your system.

Note: The table is preloaded with defaults for iSeries SEU types. A general record per SEU type should exist with object name *ALL. Any exceptions for the records in the table have to be defined manually. Toggle Object *ALL/name/all to change the order in which the records are displayed on the panel. The panel sub-heading differs accordingly.

Function keys

If you select subset *ALL, all records will be displayed. If you select subset *STANDARD, all records for DC1 standard are displayed.

Object *All Toggle between viewing the following:

  • only records with the name *ALL
  • all objects, except *ALL, sorted according to SEU type and object name
  • all objects, including *ALL, sorted according to SEU type and object name

Maintain create command defaults (ASTD2044)

On this panel you set up defaults for each SEU type used in the PDM. The SEU types are then connected to a record in Work with Create commands, keywords. This setup is supported by the ASWCRT command. Refer to the embedded help for the ASWCRT command for more information.

Function keys

Prompt command Prompt the keywords for the command entered in the Command field.
Additional commands Access a program where you can enter several additional commands for the Create command you are maintaining.

Enter the source file name.
SEU type
Enter an SEU type. Note: There is no check if this is a valid SEU type.

Identity

PTF/Mod number
Command

Defaults
Enter the defaults that apply for the command entered above. Note: If the object is *ALL, enter the defaults that are generally used for this command. If a specific object name is entered, you should only enter the exceptions. The whole command string will then be displayed in the bottom part of the panel. This means that the default for this SEU type and the exceptions for this specific object will be combined.
