DB audit – log file enquiry (JRND0401)

On this panel you make enquiries in the Data base audit log file for all the changes of you master data. Which changes shall be logged, is defined in the Data base audit management tables for libraries, files and fields. This panel displays a listing of the files in which fields have been changed, with field description, field value before and after, date and time when the change was made, and user id of the user who made the change.

Selection fields

This panel displays the selected change of the master data.

Function keys

Display next Display the next change that has been made for the fields in the file. If the value before update is displayed, the value after update will be displayed next.
Display previous Display the previous change that has been made for the fields in the file. If the value after update is displayed, the value before update will be displayed next.
Display transaction Display the log transaction, i.e. all changes that were made at one time for the field values in the file, according to the enquiry panel that has been designed for the file.
File
Displays the file in which the change was made.
File description
Displays the description of the file.
Field name
Displays the field name of the field that has been changed.
Field description
Displays the field description.
Field value
Displays the value of the field. Depending on the sequence displayed below, it is a new field value, a deleted field value, or the value before or after for a changed field value.
Identity
Displays the field text for the field that is used to identify the field for which the value was changed.
Sequence
Depending on the change made, this field will display the following text:

  • New record
  • Deleted record
  • After update
  • Before update
User
Displays the user id of the user who made the change.
Creation date
Displays the date when the change was made.
Creation time
Displays the time when the change was made.
Updating program
Displays the program in which the change was made.
