Work with acceptance of A/R payments (FKR31001)

This panel displays the documents from the updated A/R payment proposals that are to be paid. Only documents with a payment mode with Wait for accept set to YES are included. When accepting a payment, it becomes valid for portfolio handling.

Options

Accept Select this option to accept payment of a document(s). You access the Accept panel where you can view payment information and change some data. When you click OK from that panel, and it is the first document selected, you access the Journal and voucher information panel. On that panel you enter the Accounting period, Voucher type, Voucher date and Default payment document information. This information will apply for all documents selected for acceptance in the run. When you are ready, click Back or Exit to access the G/L update panel where you can confirm the journal information and trigger the journal update. The system will create payment transactions to the A/R and G/L.
Delete If, e.g., a document has been settled elsewhere in the system, or the payment of the document has been rejected by the bank, select this option to delete a document.
Display Select this option to view details of the selected document.

Selection fields

Debtor no
This column displays the debtor number of the selected document.
Internal name
This column displays the internal name of the debtor.
Due date
This column displays the due date for the document.
External number
This column displays the external document number of the payment if it differs from the retrieved number from the number series defined for the A/R payment mode.
S
This column denotes the status of the payment. It is set to YES if the document has been selected for acceptance.
Curr
This column displays the transaction currency of the payment.
Payment amount
This column displays the amount of the payment.

Function keys

Paid documents Display the A/R open item overview where you can maintain the documents included in the payment. By doing this, the amount of the payment can be changed. This is the case if the debtor does not accept the complete amount of the draft.
Payment details Maintain payment information on document level for the selected document.
Debtor payment mode Maintain payment information on payment mode level for the debtor in the Business partner file.
Debtor number
Displays the debtor number of the selected document.
Payment amount
The amount of the payment is displayed in transaction and system currency.

Portfolio information

The following fields contain information for the payment document.

Proposal number
Displays the number and description of the A/R payment proposal where the payment was created.
External document number
Enter/Displays the external document number of the payment if it differs from the retrieved number from the number series defined for the A/R payment mode.

Document type
Enter/Displays the document type for the payment if it differs from the document type from the A/R payment proposal. This document type will override the default document type that you enter when you update the accepted payments.
Due date
Enter/Displays the due date for the document.

Two sub-titles are valid for this panel.

  • Journal and voucher information: When the first document is selected for acceptance, the sub-title will be Journal and voucher information. In this mode you enter the Accounting period, Voucher type, Voucher date and Default payment document information. This information will apply for all documents selected for acceptance in the run, but can be changed when the journal update is triggered (i.e. G/L update mode of this panel).
  • G/L update: When you have accepted all documents which should be updated in one journal, and have clicked Back or Exit this panel will be re-accessed and the sub-title will be G/L update. In this mode you confirm the journal information and trigger the journal update. The update will create payment transactions to the A/R and G/L.

Automatically generated reports:

When the G/L postings are updated to the G/L, the following reports will be printed, under the following circumstances:

Accounting period
This field displays the accounting period you entered when the first document was selected for acceptance. The Accounting Year may not be changed. The period may not be before any of the included documents.
Voucher type
This field displays the voucher type you entered when the first document was selected for acceptance, but may be changed. The voucher type must be valid for the ARPP routine.
Voucher date
This field displays the voucher date you entered when the first document was selected for acceptance, but may be changed.
Default payment doc
This field displays the default payment document you entered when the first document was selected for acceptance, but may be changed. You may enter a default document type for the payment transactions, which will be used for the documents that do not have a connected document type defined. If the proposal’s payment mode is SEPA Direct Debit, then the document type must not be connected to a portfolio type in Work with document types.
