When you access the Forecast period file for the first time after the installation of DC1 Inventory Control, the file contains no entries. You must generate the forecast periods in the system. The time span of the generated forecast periods is based on the values in the forecast period fields in the IC control file. See section IC control file for information about these fields. Note: You cannot add or delete the forecast periods, nor generate new forecast periods once data exists in the Forecast file.
- Select the Work with forecast periods menu item.
- On the Forecast period maintenance panel, click Create forecast periods. The system generates the forecast periods. Exit the routine.
