Manufacturing order operations that are assigned a run priority can also be assigned a sequence. The sequence defines the priority of the operation within a specific run priority.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 in Enter a run priority for an operation.
- You access Manufacturing order detail planning, Total priority, op times in minutes/decimals displaying operations for the current work centre, sorted in sequence of run priority (descending), run sequence and planned start date. Complete the following field:
- Seq
- Enter the sequence within priority for this operation. Permitted values range from 01 through 99, where 01 is the highest priority. You can enter a new sequence for several operations at the same time. You can also change an existing run sequence by entering a new value.
Click OK.
The system updates the information and displays the new sequence. Tip: Click Refresh to refresh the information on the panel. The operations will be displayed in order of run priority and sequence within run priority. Exit the routine.
