In this program you maintain the accounts for which you want to control the manual entries of invoices and settlements. Since the entries are done automatically and VAT is considered only for those automatic transactions, manual entry entails the risk of the data being spoiled (inconsistent). This panel displays the existing control accounts.
To avoid entering bookings for specific accounts, a list of accounts is maintained and the G/L account string validation program validates (when called from any program where bookings are entered manually) the account parts against the VAT control account reference file. If a matching combination is found (i.e., the entered combination is a VAT control account), then the entry is disallowed.
