This panel can be accessed from many locations. The title of this panel and the information in the top section differs depending on from where this panel was accessed.
From this panel you enter/view the FOC discounting information for uniquely defined limit setups or limit codes. The limit codes are used in the following:
- Work with sales pricing methods
- Work with customer contracts
- Work with sales price lists, Items
- Item file, Sales prices.
The information you can enter/view on this panel depends on the Limit type (Quantity or Amount) assigned to the:
- Limit code (if setting up a pre-defined set of limits in the Limit codes table)
OR
- Customer contract and Sales pricing method

FOC item sequence/Limit sequence | Toggle the information in FOC item sequence order or Limit sequence order. |
Selection fields
- Limit code or Pricing method or Customer or Contract
- The field name differs depending on from where this panel was accessed. Displays the limit code or pricing method or customer or customer contract to which the FOC discount will apply.
- Item
- Only displayed if this panel was accessed via Work with sales pricing methods. Displays the item to which the FOC discount will apply.
- Limit unit or Limit currency
- The field name differs depending on the type of limit defined for the limit setup (Quantity or Amount). Limit unit is only displayed for a quantity limit. Limit currency is only displayed for an amount limit.
- Quantity or Amount limit
- The column name differs depending on the type of limit defined for the limit setup (Quantity or Amount). This column lists the quantity or amount limit that must be met to be able to apply the FOC discount.
- FOC item unit
- This column lists the unit for the FOC item.
- Quantity
- This column lists the quantity of the FOC item that is to be given should the limit (quantity or amount) be reached.
- FOC %
- This column lists the percentage of the quantity that is to be given as FOC, if limit (quantity or amount) is reached.
Example:
Quantity limit = 10 with FOC % = 20%. If you sell a quantity of 100 items you will have met your limit (the limit of 10). The FOC % will be used to define the number of items to be given FOC (i.e. 20% of 100 items = 20 items FOC on top of the 100 you have bought).

- Quantity or Amount limit
- Depending on the type of limit defined for the limit setup (Quantity or Amount), the field name differs. Enter the quantity or amount limit that must be met to be able to apply the FOC discount.
- FOC item
- Displays the FOC item and its description.
- FOC unit
- Displays the unit for the FOC item.
- FOC quantity
- Only one type of FOC discount may be entered: FOC quantity or FOC quantity %. Enter the FOC quantity that is to be given should the limit (quantity or amount) be reached.
- FOC quantity %
- Only one type of FOC discount may be entered: FOC quantity or FOC quantity %. Enter the percentage of the quantity that is to be given FOC should the limit (quantity or amount) be reached.
Example:
Quantity limit = 10 with FOC % = 20%. If you sell a quantity of 100 items you will have met your limit (the limit of 10). The FOC % will be used to define the number of items to be given FOC (i.e. 20% of 100 items = 20 items FOC on top of the 100 you have bought).
- Calculation option
- There is currently one panel value available (i.e. 1 = Multiples based on the limit) which means that the system will automatically calculate the FOC quantity or FOC quantity % according to the Quantity or Amount limit. For example, if the Quantity limit is 10 and the FOC quantity is 1, the system will automatically calculate the FOC quantity for every 10 of the FOC item that you sell. Example: If you sell 20 then give away 2, sell 30 then give away 3, etc.
Leave this field blank if you do not want to use the calculation option.
- Rounding
- Only applicable if a FOC quantity % has been defined. Enter the panel value code, indicating how you want the discount amount rounded:
D Rounding down (i.e. round down regardless of any decimal value). H Half adjust (i.e. round up or down according to any decimal value). Example: If the discount amount = 100.6 GBP the amount will be rounded up to 101 GBP. If it is 100.4 it will be rounded down to 100 GBP). U Rounding up (i.e. round up regardless of any decimal value)

On this panel the records that you selected to copy are displayed.

This panel can be accessed from many locations. The title of this panel and the information in the top section differs depending on from where this panel was accessed.
- FOC item
- Displays the FOC item from the record that you selected to copy.
- FOC unit
- Displays the FOC unit from the record that you selected to copy.
- Quantity or Amount
- Displays the Quantity or Amount from the record that you selected to copy.
- New FOC item
- Enter the new FOC item code.
- New FOC unit
- Enter the new FOC unit code.
- New quantity or New amount
- Enter the new quantity or amount.

Note: A record may not be deleted if the discount method in question is still being used in an open order or is connected to a sales pricing method.

This panel lists any FOC items and the discount details.

Selection fields
- Quantity or Amount limit
- Displays the quantity limit or amount limit, depending on what was defined for the limit setup.
- Limit unit
- Only displayed for a Quantity limit. Displays the unit for the quantity limit.
- Limit currency
- Only displayed for an Amount limit. Displays the currency for the amount limit.
- FOC item
- Displays the FOC item and description.
- FOC unit
- Displays the FOC unit.
- FOC quantity
- Only one type of FOC discount may be entered: FOC quantity or FOC quantity %. Displays the FOC quantity that is to be given should the limit (quantity or amount) be reached.
- FOC %
- Only one type of FOC discount may be entered: FOC quantity or FOC quantity %. Displays the percentage of the quantity that is to be given as FOC, should the limit (quantity or amount) be reached.

- Displays, if any, the calculation method for the FOC discount.
