The following describes how to automatically generate a preventive service order.
There are two ways of doing this:
- Based on a preventive service order suggestion.
- Based on the service period.
If preventive service order suggestions are to be used, the system will generate preventive service orders for those objects stated in the suggestion.
All those objects, which have the Next generation date within the given period, are included.
- Select the Generate preventive service orders menu item.
- You access Order generation for preventive service.
- You access the second Order generation for preventive service panel where you complete the specification parameters (optional) and print parameters.
You have a choice on this panel to use either the Suggestion number field to generate preventive service orders, or the Service period field.
Note: If you enter a date range in the Service period field and no values in the other fields, then all preventive service orders within this date range will be generated. Otherwise, you may define ranges or individual values in the Customer number, Item code and Serial number fields.
Complete the applicable fields. Click OK.
Click OK to generate preventive service orders. You will receive a display message informing you that the operation completed normally. A list of the generated preventive orders is automatically created. Orders that are in error are also generated and shown on the listing.
