This panel is used to define vehicles for transport fleet. For each vehicle you can define:
- a maximum and minimum weight capacity
- a maximum and minimum volume capacity
- assign a maximum and minimum value for the entire shipment
- and item shipment group for a specific vehicle.
Weight and volume capacity
By establishing a minimum/maximum load and volume you will be able to accurately load a shipment onto a vehicle.
Controlling value of the shipment
For insurance reasons it may be important that the total value of goods that are transported does not exceed a specific value. Also, it may not be profitable to dispatch a vehicle if its content is below the cost of the shipment. To be able to handle these two situations a minimum and maximum value for the shipment can be established. This will allow you to control profitability and follow insurance guidelines.
