The IBAN is formed by adding the country code (FI in Finland) to the domestic account number and a two-character verifier in front of the number. The total length of the account number in IBAN format is eighteen which is provided by the bank. The IBAN format can be represented as:
Domestic account format: 99999900099999
IBAN format: FIXX 9999 9900 0999 99, where XX is the two character verifier or check-digit. |
