This program is used to:
- Synchronize any mismatch of messages. For example, if any messages exist in the database but not in the DC1 Message file, (and vice versa), running this program will synchronize the mismatch and update the correct version in the DC1 message file.
- Create messages in the DC1 message file.
The system creates one DC1 message file per language. You choose the language of the messages you want to synchronize and then create. Only those messages in the selected language that also belong to the defined subset will be updated. If the message file does not exist, the system will create it.
Function keys
- Subset
- The system defaults the subset that is connected to the release in the company you are running DC1. This is defined in the Release definitions table. If the records you want to update do not belong to this subset, click Select subset to select that applicable.
- Language
- Enter the language code of the messages you want to synchronize and then create. For example, if you enter EN (for English), the system will retrieve all English records from the database and update them in the DC1 message file. If you enter SV, the system will retrieve all Swedish records from the database and update them in the ASWMSGSV file, etc. If the applicable message file does not exist, the system will create it.
