Parameter details
The manner in which parameter values are displayed on this panel is dependent on which unpacking method has been used to receive the data:
- Parameter text
- If the unpacking method is *FIXED, then this column heading will be presented with the list of parameter field names that the data string has included for this event.
- Parameter value
- If the unpacking method is *FIXED, then this column heading will be presented with the specific values for each of the parameters used in this event, alongside the parameter text for each. If you are able to determine that the error that has been encountered is a cause of one of these values being incorrect, then you are able to change this here.
- Lng
- Only shown if the unpacking method used for this event was *FIXED. This column lists the length, measured in character positions, of the parameter values.
- T
- Only shown if the unpacking method used for this event was *FIXED. This column lists the parameter types.
Value Value A Alpha D Date N Numeric
- Alert parameter
- If the unpacking program that was used for this alert was one other than *FIXED, then the data string, including all its parameters, will be listed here. The character positioning number for the parameters is also shown. If the error encountered with this event is due to one of these parameters, then they may be changed and/or corrected.
