The entries in this panel are used in the Item file to determine the structure handling of items.
Item structures can only be retrieved during sales order entry or when copying an order, quotation, invoice or credit order into a new order.

Options
Selection fields
- Type
- This column lists the unique codes identifying structure types.
- Changeable
- Displays if changes, i.e. additions or deletions of component lines, and/or component quantities, to the structure are permissible during sales order line maintenance or when copying a sales order, quotation, invoice or credit order into a new order.
- Sales price calc
- Displays how the sales price calculation for the items is determined within the item structure.
- SMS rebate retrieval
- Displays how rebates are retrieved for sales order structures.
- Component statistics
- Displays how the handlings of components to be included in the Sales statistics file.
- Rebate code
- Displays how expected rebate amount will be calculated for the sales order line using the applicable structure type.
- Structure avail.
- Displays if an availability check of the critical components within an order structure should be performed during the pick list printing routine.

The entries in this panel are used in the Item file to determine the structure handling of items.

Function keys
- Type
- Changeable
- Indicate if changes, i.e. additions or deletions of component lines, and/or component quantities, to the structure are permissible during sales order line maintenance or when copying a sales order, quotation, invoice or credit order into a new order.
- On-line programs
- Indicate, in the parent and component fields, if the parent or component should be displayed during sales order/quotation line maintenance. Both fields cannot be set to NO. Note: If either the parent or the component has sales price calculations associated with it, as defined further down on the panel, that parent or component must be set to YES.
Note: If DC1 Manufacturing is installed, and if the Auto create M-order field is set to YES in the MFG control file, and if the components you are defining belongs to an order structure that can generate a manufacturing order: Then the components for On-line programs must therefore be defined as YES since they must be displayed during sales order entry.
- Quotation
- Indicate, in the parent and component fields, if the parent or component should be displayed on the quotation printout. NO cannot be defined in both fields. Note: If either the parent or component has sales price calculations associated with it, as defined further down on the panel, that parent or component must be set to YES.
- Order confirmation
- Indicate, in the parent and component fields, if the parent or component should be displayed on the order confirmation printout. Both fields cannot be set to NO. Note: If either the parent or component has sales price calculations associated with it, as defined further down on the panel, that parent or component must be set to YES.
- Pick list
- Indicate, in the parent and component fields, if the parent or component should be displayed on the pick list printout. Both fields cannot be set to NO. In some cases the system will override the values entered in this field.
Example 1
This field is set to YES for the parent. The order structure is entered on a sales order where the Delivery cde field in the order header is set to 1, 2 or 3. The parent is not defined as critical on the sales order, but the components are. When the pick list is printed, only the components are available, but not the parent item. Then the system will print the components on the pick list, even though the order structure is set to YES for the parent in this field.Example 2
This field is set to YES for the components. The order structure is entered on a sales order where the Delivery cde field in the order header is 1, 2 or 3. The parent is not defined as critical on the sales order, neither are the components. When the pick list is printed, only the parent item is available, but not the components. Then the system will print the parent item on the pick list, even though the order structure is set to YES for the components in this field.Note: When DC1 Warehouse Management is active the parent and component are always printed on the pick list, regardless of the code entered here.
- Pick confirmation
- Indicate, in the parent and component fields, if the parent or component should be displayed during pick list confirmation. Note: The parent item in the structure will always be displayed during this routine.
In some cases the system will override the values entered in this field. See the examples for the Pick list field on this panel.
Note: When DC1 Warehouse Management is active, both the parent and component must be confirmed on the pick list regardless of the code entered here.
- Transport note
- Indicate, in the parent and component fields, if the parent or component should be displayed on the transport note printout.
- Invoice/Credit note
- Indicate, in the parent and component fields, if the parent or component should be displayed on the invoice/credit note printout. Note: If either the parent or component has sales price calculations associated with it, as defined in the following field, that parent or component must be set to YES.
- Sales price calc
- This field is used to determine the sales price calculation for the items within the item structure.
Note: When the EU reporting function is activated and this field is set to 1, 3 or 4, only the parent item is added to the EU statistics file. This means that the components are not included on the INTRASTAT declaration.
- SMS rebate retrieval
- This field is only displayed if DC1 Sales and Marketing Support (SMS) is installed and activated. It is used to determine how rebates are retrieved for sales order structures.
Code Description 1 Rebates are retrieved only for the parent. 2 Rebates are retrieved both for the parent and the components. 3 Rebates are retrieved only for the components.
- Component statistics
- This field is used to determine the handling of components to be included in the Sales statistics file.
- Rebate code
- This field is only displayed if the DC1 Customer/Supplier Rebates application is installed and activated. This panel value controlled field defines how expected rebate amount is to be calculated for the sales order line using the applicable structure type. It is also used to set the order line field for rebate calculation on the parent and component lines.

- Displays the structure types you selected to copy.
- New type
- Enter the new structure types that you are creating.
