This panel displays the Client types, retrieved from the Work with client type table, for which message queues can be assigned. Note: The following two Client types are preloaded: ANALYSER and 5250.
Every time an event is triggered, that is to be received by this user, you have the option to let the DC1 Alert Management system direct the message to a specific message queue. You can set up an unlimited number of message queue parameters in the Work with client types table. The actual message queue value, per client type, is defined in this table.
Selection fields
- User
- Displays the user profile of the user you are maintaining.
- Client type
- Displays the client type, which is retrieved from the Work with client types table.
- Description
- Displays the description of the client type, which is retrieved from the Work with client types table.
- Send
- Indicates if the message should be sent immediately to the client type. This information is defined in the Work with client types table for each client type.
- Active
- Indicates if the client type is activated, meaning a message will be sent to the applicable message queue if an event is triggered for the user profile. You activate/inactivate client types per user profile by entering option 1 (= Activate), respectively 4 (= Inactivate) next to the applicable client type and clicking OK.
