The purpose of this program is to retrieve all fields that refer to the specified field name in the Fields referring to field from the Field Reference File and apply a default field function.
When you press Enter on this panel you will return to the Work with default field functions (CVTD2001) panel and the retrieved fields will be displayed.
Options
A | All fields referring to the field defined in the Fields referring to field will be retrieved to the Work with default field functions (CVTD2001) panel. |
U | All fields referring to the field defined in the Fields referring to field will be updated with the default function entered in the Field function field on this panel. This means that the reference fields must already exist on the Work with default field functions (CVTD2001) panel. |
D | All fields referring to the field defined in the Fields referring to field will be deleted from the Work with default field functions (CVTD2001) panel. |
- Fields referring to
- Enter the name of the reference field in the Field Reference File, for which you want to add, update or delete fields with default field functions.
- Field mask
- Enter the field name mask to be used when constructing field names from the reference fields. An F indicates where the actual field name should start. Example: If you enter **F, and a referenced field name ICNO is found, the created field name will be **ICNO. If you enter AAF, the field name will be AAICNO.
- File name
- Enter the file name in which the field must exist to get the default field function. *ALL means that default function will be used regardless of in which file the field exists.
- Subset
- Enter the subset to which the record belong.
- Field function
- Enter the field function to perform a specific conversion on the displayed field.
