This panel contains the following five addresses which can be changed. Note: If you are in sales quotation mode, the only applicable address is the Quotation address. It is, however, possible to maintain the other addresses even though they are not used for a quotation. They will, however, be valid later when the quotation is copied to a sales/service order.
- Confirmation/Quotation address is where the order confirmation/quotation document should be sent.
- Ship to address is only applicable for sales orders that are part of the Shipment preparation routine. This is the intermediate address to which the goods are shipped, (e.g., Port or Shipping agent), before being delivered on to the Delivery address.
- Delivery address is where the goods should be sent.
- Invoice address is where the invoice document should be sent.
- Debtor address is the customer who is responsible for paying the invoice, i.e. the customer that will update the Accounts Receivable. This is the address to which any payment reminders, statement of accounts or interest invoices will be sent.
Note: If you are in Work with orders in error/Work with sales quotations in error mode, the main title of the panel will read Work with orders in error/Work with sales quotations in error and any address containing erroneous information will be highlighted. Access the applicable address and click OK to view the error.
