This panel displays the DI methods that are valid for the selected document/document subtype. All methods preloaded at system installation are defined in the DI methods table.

Work with DI documents, DI method links (ECND11004)
The purpose of this table is to link the selected DI document/DI document subtype to a method, thereby indicating the method used to distribute the data (sent/received).
- Method
- Enter a code from the DI methods table, indicating the method to use when exchanging the DI document/DI document subtype with a trading partner.
- Method subtype
- Enter a code from the Method subtype table, which together with the Method determines the method to use when exchanging the DI document/DI document subtype with a trading partner.
- External doc name
- Valid only for the DC1 Data Interchange routine. Enter the external identification of the DI document. The external identification is stated by the standards of the method. For example, using method EDI/400 and submethod EDIFACT, the external document name for the DI document ORDERS is also ORDERS. Using method EDI/400 and submethod ANSI/X12 for the same DI document, the external document name is 850.
- External doc subtype
- Valid only for the DC1 Data Interchange routine. Enter the external identification of the DI document subtype. The external identification of the subtype is stated by the standards of the method. For example, using method EDI/400 and submethod EDIFACT, the external document name for the DI document INVOIC, subtype Commercial invoice (1), the external document subtype is 380.
- Description
- Enter the description of the external document name/external document subtype.
- Send document
- Indicate if the method link is valid when sending the DI document/DI document subtype.
- Receive document
- Indicate if the method link is valid when receiving the DI document/DI document subtype.
- From e-mail address
- Enter the e-mail address from which the DI document is being sent. This is used by Output Manager fax and Output Manager e-mail.
Work with DI documents, DI method links, Copy (ECND11005)
On this panel you can create a new DI Method link by copying an existing.
- Method
- Displays the selected Method link you are copying
- Method subtype
- Displays the method subtype that belongs to the method link you are copying.
- New method
- Enter the new method link that defines the method used to distribute the data.
- New subtype
- Enter the new method subtype that will be used to interpret the data being transferred.
Work with DI documents, DI method links, Deletion (ECND11010)
On this panel you can delete the selected DI method link. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
