This program can be accessed from various locations. Depending on the point of access, the panel title will vary. The following panel titles are applicable:
- Item file maintenance, Allocate matrix sales price
- Work with sales price lists, Items, Allocate matrix sales price
- Item file maintenance, Allocate matrix purchase price
- Item file maintenance, Delete matrix sales price
- Item file maintenance, Delete matrix purchase price
This program displays an item matrix over the items that can be selected for update of an allocated price from either a matrix base item or from one of the matrix items within the matrix. If the allocated price originates from a matrix base item, all items within the matrix will be possible to select. If the allocated price originates from a specific matrix item, it will only be possible to select the items that share the same segment 2 value (e.g., share the same colour).
All combinations of matrix values, which will become the individual matrix items, are selected by default. You can:
- Leave all selected and click the Allocate function key to allocate the price, or
- Click the Clear function key to delete all selections and then select those applicable and click the Allocate function key to allocate the price.
Function keys

| Delete | This function key is only displayed if the sales price or purchase price was deleted. You can click this function key to delete the price from the corresponding matrix items. |
- Item
- This field displays the item and description.
- Supplier / Price list
- The name of this field depends on from where this program was accessed:
Supplier: If you accessed this program from purchase prices, this field displays the supplier code and description for which the purchase price is allocated.
Price list: If you accessed this program from sales prices, this field displays the sales price list code and description for which the sales price is allocated.
- Currency
- This field displays the currency for the price that is being allocated.
- Purchase / Sales unit
- The name of this field depends on from where this program was accessed. This field displays the purchase unit or sales unit for the price that is being allocated.
- Purch price / Sales price
- The name of this field depends on from where this program was accessed. This field displays the actual purchase price or sales price that is being allocated. If a sales price is being allocated, this field can be blank. Then it is a price with a basis that is being allocated.
- Price unit
- This field is only displayed if the PRCUNIT (Price unit handling) function is activated in the Function control file. This field displays the price unit for the price that is being allocated. See About price unit handling for more information.
- From date
- This field displays the date from which the price being allocated is valid.
- To date
- This field displays the date to which the price being allocated is valid.
- XXXXXX
- The column headings for the segment 2 values in the Item matrix templates details file are displayed vertically.
- XXXXXX
- The column headings from the segment 3 values in the Item matrix templates details file are displayed horizontally.
