Work with routes, Customer sequence within destination (DIR05901)

On this panel you define a sequence for all customers that are connected to the selected destination and route.

Note: The customers that are displayed on this panel are per Route, Departure and Date combination. All of this information will be accessed by the Shipment preparation process to effectively plan and manage deliveries made from your warehouse.

Options

Restrictions Select this option to access the Route restrictions panel where you can attach (or detach) a route restriction group, holding the items that are not to be delivered to the customer of the destination on the route.

Function keys

Re-sequence Renumber all customer sequences to intervals of 10.

Selection fields

Route
Displays the route that you selected for sequencing.
Departure
Displays the connected route departure.
From date
Displays the date that the route is available from.
To date
Displays the date until which the route is available.
Destination
Displays the point of delivery that you selected for customer sequencing.
Seq
Displays the stops that will be made along your route since its departure. The deliveries to the customers are numbered sequentially. Note: The first stop is determined by the lowest sequence number, the last stop will be assigned the highest sequence number.
Customer
Displays the customer to which the delivery is to be made.
Addr
Displays the number of this customer’s delivery address defined in the Business partner file/Address file.
Name
Displays the detailed name entered for the delivery address.
Address line 4
Displays the address information entered on the fourth line for this customer’s delivery address defined in the Business partner file/Address file.
Omit customer
Indicates if this customer should be omitted from the route for the departure day.

On this panel you can change the customer sequence within the selected destination. If the WAKEUP (Wake up call interface) function is activated in the Function control file, the related columns will be displayed by clicking the Next button where you have the possibility to override everything that was set up on the route, for this specific customer and destination on the route. (Note: This information can also be overridden on the generated route list for one specific departure, if required.)

Route
Displays the route you selected for sequencing.
Departure
Displays the route departure.
From date
Displays the date that the route is available from.
To date
Displays the date until which the route is available.
Destination
Displays the point of delivery you selected for customer sequencing.

Sequence
This field is used to identify the stops that will be made along your route since its departure. This sequence value determines the print sequence on the loading list and on the route delivery list indicating the order in which the deliveries to the customers should be made within the destination. Enter a number that will correctly position this stop along the delivery route.

Note: The first stop is determined by the lowest sequence number, the last stop will be assigned the highest sequence number.

Note: If this field is blank, then this delivery address will be positioned after those with a sequence value defined within this destination. If several addresses are unsequenced, then these will be printed in customer/address number sequence.

Customer
Displays the customer to which the delivery is to be made.
Address number
Displays the number of this customer’s delivery address defined in the Business partner file/Address file.
Address line 4
Displays the address information entered on the fourth line for this customer’s delivery address defined in the Business partner file/Address file.
Departure day
Displays the days of the week that the route will depart on. These weekdays are used in conjunction with the fields to the right of them.

Note: All dates are automatically checked against the Calendar file. There will be no deliveries on the days that have been marked as holidays.

Omit customer
Indicate if this customer should be omitted from the route for the departure day.
Arrival day
Displays the day (estimated) that the route will stop at your the customer’s site. Note: This value is derived from the dispatch date (for this route list) and the customer transport time.
Arrival time
Displays the arrival time.
Cut-off dev
Displays the cut-off deviation time (in minutes). This value indicates the time frame that your customer still has for placing an order before the delivery/route departs. Note: If a negative cut-off deviation time is shown then your customer must place his order earlier.
Cut-off time
Displays the cut-off time and -date for each departure day. All orders received after this time will be bumped up to the next shipment.

On this panel you have the possibility to override the wake up call information that was set up on the route, for this specific customer and destination on the route. (Note: This information can also be overridden on the generated route list for one specific departure, if required.) You also have the possibility to exclude a customer on the destination from receiving a wake up call (i.e. no wake up call entry will be generated for this customer/destination).

Route
Displays the route you selected for sequencing.
Departure
Displays the route departure.
From date
Displays the date that the route is available from.
To date
Displays the date until which the route is available.
Destination
Displays the point of delivery you selected for customer sequencing.

Wake up call customer
This field is set to YES if the customer is defined for Wake up call handling in the Business partner file.
Wake up call
This field is set to YES if the customer is defined for Wake up call handling in the Business partner file. If you do not want the customer on this destination to receive a wake up call, remove the checkmark. No wake up call entry will be generated for this customer/destination.
Route wake up time
Displays the wake up time that was defined on the route. This can be overridden in the Wake up time 1-3 columns.
Day
Displays the day for the wake up time that was defined on the route. This can be overridden in the Day columns for the corresponding Wake up time 1-3.
Wake up time 1 – 3
If you want to override the values on the route for this specific customer and destination, you can enter up to three wake up times for when the customer should be called on the particular day. For example, if the cut off time on the route is at 1600, and the dispatch time is at 1700, and the wake up time on the route was set to 1500, you may want to override that wake up time on the route, and define here that the customer should be called at 1100, 1300 and 1400.
Day
If you want to override the wake up day on the route for this specific customer and destination, enter the day for the corresponding wake up time 1-3.
Mon str time
If you want to override the monitor start time on the route for this specific customer and destination, enter the monitor start time denoting the time at which the system starts checking entered sales orders. This time and the Cut-off time of the route (the time when the outbound shipment is closed for new orders) are the driving factors of this functionality, and determine when the customer should receive a wake up call, i.e. a customer should receive a wake up call when no order has been entered between the Monitor start time and the Cut-off time of the route.
Day
If you want to override the monitor start day on the route for this specific customer and destination, enter the monitor start day denoting what day of the week the system should start checking entered sales orders.
Route mon str time
Displays the monitor start time for the route.
Day
Displays the monitor start day for the route denoting what day of the week the system should start checking entered sales orders.
