Information about expected payments that may be found in the DC1 database such as sales orders, A/R documents, purchase orders and A/P documents are automatically collected, compiled and presented in the forecast Calendar view.
The following describes how to manually start the collection of expected payments for a cash flow forecast type and how to check when the update completed successfully. Note: See section Update procedures for additional information.
The following instructions are only applicable for the following preloaded cash flow forecast types:
- SALES
- PURCHASE
- ARDIS
- A/R
- A/P
Caution: If you want the system to reflect expected payments based on the previous payment behaviour of your customers or how you previously paid your suppliers, the routine Update expected payment deviation days must be run before this routine. See Calculate expected payment deviation days for business partners.
- Select Panel types/Collection and click Cash flow forecast types. The system displays the Cash flow forecast types view:
- Highlight the applicable type(s), right-click and select Update cash flow forecast type. Tip: To highlight several types, press the Ctrl button and click on all applicable types.
- The selection dialogue window Update Cash flow forecast type is displayed showing the selected cash flow forecast type. Click OK to confirm.

Last updated displays when the cash flow forecast type update completed successfully. Last updated by displays who started the update.
Note: You may have to click Refresh to check if the update completed successfully and view the newly updated opening balance values.
