This document outlines the different process steps and the order in which these actions should be taken.
This panel displays all existing demand plan hierarchies in the system. The hierarchies are used to define the different summary levels for a demand plan.
Each hierarchy set can include up to nine hierarchy keys that are retrieved from Work with DIS control keys. You can combine both item and customer related hierarchy keys. At least one item related key must be used for a hierarchy.
Each demand plan must be connected to a hierarchy from this program. Once details have been created for the demand plan you can also connect an alternative hierarchy to the demand plan. This is useful if you want to view the forecast figures from another perspective.

Selection fields
- Code
- This column lists the codes that identify the existing hierarchy sets.
- Description
- This column lists the hierarchy set descriptions.
- From – To
- The dates indicate the period during which the hierarchy set is valid for usage.
- Used
- Indicates if the hierarchy set is used in a demand plan.
Work with demand plan hierarchies (INVD02404)
This panel displays the details of the selected demand plan hierarchy. On this panel you define the period during which the hierarchy set is valid for usage.
Function keys
- Code
- Enter a code to identify the hierarchy set. For existing records, this field cannot be changed.
- Description
- Enter a description of the hierarchy set. This field can be changed.
- Valid from – to
- Enter the dates indicating the period during which the hierarchy set is valid for usage. This field can be changed.
