On this panel you create and modify filters for each parameter, which in turn are also linked to event types.
Options
Receivers | Select this option to activate or de-activate one or more of the message receivers concerning this event. |
Exclude | Select this option to handle parameter exclusions and inclusions for the filter. |
- Seq
- This column displays the sequence order in which this parameter will be considered within this event. The parameter with the lowest sequence number will be processed first, followed by the next lowest number and so on.
- Description
- This column lists the descriptions of the filters for this parameter.
- Hold rec
- Indicates if any receivers have been activated for this filter on the Work with receivers panel.
- Type
- This column displays the type to which this filter applies.
- Excl
- Indicates if parameter exclusions exist for this filter.
Work with filters (EDSD00504)
On this panel you define the properties of each of the filters that are linked to the parameters of specific event types.
- Event type
- Displays the name and description of the event type that you are working with.
- Parameter
- Displays the name and description of the parameter of the event type that you are working with.
- Sequence
- Mandatory entry. Enter the sequence number that you want this filter to be processed in. The lower the number entered here, the sooner in the chain of process it will be executed. This field can be changed for existing records.
- Description
- Mandatory entry. Enter a description of the filter that you are creating. This field can be changed for existing records.
- Active
- Indicate if this filter should be active. YES is defaulted. This field can be changed for existing records.
- Type
- Enter the type to which this filter should apply.
Type Description 1 Value comparison 2 Event occurrence 3 This type makes it possible to override receivers on event type level depending on the value in the parameter.
- Value
- Enter the values that you want the system to take into account when this filter is active. For example, when Type 2 (Event occurrence) has been selected, values such as DAY and LT (Less than) may be used here to filter events that are processed in the system. For Type 3 events, a value of PARM is valid.
- Hold receivers
- Indicates if any receivers have been activated for this filter, meaning the filter is holding active receivers with specific parameters for roles. This field cannot be changed.
