This function is used if extra material is needed for the manufacturing order, e.g. during rework or extra withdrawal due to scrapping. The cost for the unplanned material is added to the manufacturing order.
- Select the Issue/receive manufacturing order menu item.
- You access Inventory transaction selection, Manufacturing order. Select the manufacturing order for which you want to issue unplanned material and click Unplanned issue.
- You access Manufacturing order material issue, Un-planned materials. Complete the following fields:
- Item
- Enter the component item that should be issued.
- Warehouse
- Enter the warehouse from where the component item will be issued.
If the STKOWNER (Stock Ownership) function is activated in the Function control file, the warehouse entered must be classified as a normal or trade (logical) warehouse (i.e. the Warehouse characteristic flag in Work with warehouses must be set to 1 (normal) or 2 (trade). - You access Manufacturing order material issue. Complete the following field:
- Issued quantity
- Enter the quantity that should be issued. The quantity can be either in stock unit or structure unit depending on the Reporting unit defined in the MFG control file. Note: This field can be protected for input if the component item is classified as serial controlled, batch controlled or warehouse management controlled.
You can enter several items on this panel.
Click OK.
Click OK and then Accept update to accept the entered issue quantity for update of order and stock. Exit the routine.
