BLWI stands for the Belgisch-Luxemburgs Wisselinstituut (Belgian-Luxemburg Exchange Institute). Certain information regarding foreign payments must be declared to the BLWI authorities. This information depends on the amount of the foreign payments in a month and the type of goods stated on the invoice. However, not all companies in Belgium are obliged to declare the payment activities.
In this table you enter the codes that should be used when printing the BLWI transaction list. To be able to classify the invoices you can enter the BLWI code at invoice level.
Note: You can leave this table blank, if the above does not apply to your company.
