Work with R/F instructions, Select shipments (RFHD51201)

From this panel you can select existing pick suggestion lines that you want to add to a new or existing R/F batch. Note: Suggestion lines that have been selected for an automatically created batch are not displayed on this panel.

The header provides you with information about the warehouse you are working in. If you are adding shipment instructions to an existing R/F batch, then that R/F batch number is shown. Note: This panel can be displayed in three modes: Order information, Item information and Quantity information. Click Shift info to toggle between the view modes.

Function keys

Non assigned loc Work with pick suggestions for which no location has been assigned. Location can be missing for the pick suggestion in the following cases:

  • Balance is available in DC1 Distribution, but balance is not available in DC1 Warehouse Management.
  • Balance is in a non-pickable location (receiving location).
  • The sales order type has dispatch code 4 (no dispatch requirements).
Auto create Access the program for automatic creation of R/F batches.

Selection fields

Note: Different selection fields are available depending on the active view mode selected by toggling Shift info.

Warehouse
Displays the warehouse for which you are currently working with R/F batches.
Batch
Displays the selected R/F batch number.

Pr
Displays the sales order line priority.
Disp dat
Displays the dispatch date from the sales order line.
Ref number
Displays the pick suggestion number from which the order line was created.
Zn
Displays the suggested zone from the pick suggestion.
Location
Displays the suggested location from the pick suggestion.
Pal
Indicates if this is a pallet line.
OT
Displays the sales order type from which the order line was created.
MOT
Displays the manner of transport defined on the sales order from which the order line was created.
Route
Displays the planned route for the line from which the order line was created.
Destination
Displays the planned destination for the line from which the order line was created.
Item
Displays the code of the item to be shipped.
Quantity
Displays the quantity of the pick suggestion.
Weight
Displays the weight of the pick suggestion.
Volume
Displays the volume of the pick suggestion.

On this panel you confirm the selected pick suggestion lines that you have added to a new or existing R/F batch. The header provides you with information about the warehouse you are working in and, if you are adding shipment instructions to an existing R/F batch, then the R/F batch number will be shown. After completing the information, click OK to confirm.

Warehouse
Displays the warehouse for which you are currently working with R/F batches.
Total qty
Displays the total quantity of the batch.
Batch
Displays the selected R/F batch number.
Total weight
Displays the total weight of the batch.
Total volume
Displays the total volume of the batch.
Total ins
Displays the number of instructions that are included in the batch.
Priority
Resource group
Resource
Enter the resource that should be used during R/F processing.
Handler
Enter the handler that should complete the R/F batch.
Pick/put type
Enter the pick/put type you want to apply for the R/F pick instruction.

The pick/put type provides information about in which sequence the pick and put instructions are to be performed.

The codes for Pick/put types are:

Zn
Displays the suggested zone from the pick suggestion.
Location
Displays the suggested location from the pick suggestion.
Pal
Indicates if this is a pallet line.
Quantity
Displays the quantity of the items from the pick suggestion.
Weight
Displays the weight of the items from the pick suggestion.
Volume
Displays the volume of the items from the pick suggestion.

On this panel you confirm the staging location for selected pick suggestion lines that you have added to a new or existing R/F batch. The header provides you with information about the warehouse you are working in and the R/F batch for which you are confirming staging location.

Warehouse
Displays the warehouse for which you are currently working with R/F batches.
Total qty
Displays the total quantity of the batch.
Batch
Displays the selected R/F batch number.
Total weight
Displays the total weight of the batch.
Total volume
Displays the total volume of the batch.
Total ins
Displays the number of instructions that are included in the batch.
Priority
Resource group
Resource
Displays the resource that should be used during R/F processing.
Handler
Displays the handler that should complete the R/F batch.
Pick/put type
Displays the pick/put type that has been applied to the R/F batch.

Valid codes are:

Ref number
Displays the pick suggestion number.
MOT
Displays the manner of transport from the sales order.
Zn
If a staging zone is defined for the combination manner of transport and warehouse in the Staging location table, then this zone is defaulted. If not, enter a zone where the items should be stored prior to shipping.
Location
If a staging location is defined for the combination manner of transport and warehouse in the Staging location table, then this location is defaulted. If not, enter a location where the items should be stored prior to shipping.
Pack type
Only mandatory if the Pick/put type field is set to 5 or 6. Enter the package type.
P qty
Only mandatory if the Pick/put type field is set to 5 or 6. Enter the package quantity.
Quantity
Displays the quantity of the items from the pick suggestion line.
Volume
Displays the volume of the items from the pick suggestion line.
