This program is used to view and modify the various Note types that you wish to make use of. Notes are used in sales, service, purchase, work and manufacturing order programmes and are used to add notations (or “messages”) to these.

- Under this column heading, all the Note types that have been previously configured in the system are listed.
- Description
- Under this column heading, all the Note types’ descriptions are listed. These correspond to the Note ID names that are listed to the left of this column.

In this panel, the details of the Note type that you have chosen to work with are defined, or edited.
Function keys
- Note type
- Displays the name of the Note type that you are working with. This field may not be changed.
- Description
- Displays a description for this Note type. This field may be changed in edit mode.
