On this panel you can issue planned material to a manufacturing order.
Material is reserved automatically when a manufacturing order is created. If you issue less material than the suggested quantity, it is possible to close the material line. By closing the reservation you free up the remaining reserved material to be used for other manufacturing orders.
If, for some reason, you want to issue more material or adjust a closed material line, this is possible even though the line is closed. You do this by entering a new issue quantity and then clicking the Accept update function key to update the order and stock with the issued material.
Note: Material lines which are defined as direct purchase are only displayed when the issue is made at planned issue.
This panel can be called from different functions within the manufacturing order handling depending on the manufacturing order type set-up, how the included materials are set and if DC1 Warehouse Management is installed and activated.
The alternatives to call this program are:
- Normal inventory manufacturing order issue start panel. No backflushing is defined on the manufacturing order type for the actual order.
- Manufacturing order operation reporting. This can be used when a material must be accepted depending on if the item is classified as DC1 Warehouse Management controlled, serial controlled or batch controlled. In this case only the material with special handling is displayed for accepting issue.
- Manufacturing order reception reporting. This can be used when a material must be accepted depending on if the item is classified as DC1 Warehouse Management controlled, serial controlled or batch controlled. In this case only the material with special handling is displayed for accepting issue.
Options
Select | Select this option to create issue for the component item. Note: This is only possible for items classified as serial controlled, batch controlled or DC1 Warehouse Management controlled. |
Return serial number/batch | Select this option to report serial number(s) or batches back into stock. Note: This option is only valid if DC1 Warehouse Management is not activated, the item is serial number controlled or batch controlled and if the issued quantity is greater than zero. (If DC1 Warehouse Management is activated, return is done via the kitting list.) |
Close reservation | Select this option to close a reservation. When you update, the remaining reservation will be removed and the material status will be set to status 60 (complete). Note: If, for some reason, you want to issue more material or adjust a closed material line, this is possible by entering a new quantity in the Issued quant field and then click the Accept update function key. |
Function keys
Accept all | Accept the suggested quantity. The quantity will be set as default in the Issued quant field. Note: This function key is not used for the update of order and stock. |
Refresh suggestion | Refresh the suggestion. The system will locate and suggest available batches for all batch controlled components in the BOM. The search result may differ from earlier suggestions since batches that were previously not available might be suggested when you refresh the list.
This function should be used if no batch suggestions were generated during the pick list printout. You can then create reservations for components that are partly issued or for which the issue is reported at a later stage. Note: New batches will only be suggested for items for which no manual bookings have been made. If manual bookings have been made, the booked batches will be displayed. Note: This function key is not available if DC1 Warehouse Management controlled items exist in the material list. In that case, the search for available batches is done from the kitting list confirmation. |
Accept update | Accept the entered issue quantity for update of order and stock. |
