This table is optional and should only be completed if you allow manual entry of discounts. Discounts can be manually entered in the following locations:
- Sales order level
- Sales order line level
- Quotation level
- Quotation line level
- Customer contract

- Code
- This column lists the code for the Sales discount ID.
- Description
- This column lists the description of the Sales discount ID.
- Level
- This column lists the code for Line or Header level, which controls the level at which this discount will be allowed, i.e. Sales order/Quotation Line or Header level.
- Claimable
- This column, which is only displayed if the DC1 Supplier Marketing Support (SMS) application is activated, indicates if you want to be able to claim the discounts from a customer contract or any manually entered discounts during Sales and Quotation line entry.

If manual entry of discounts is allowed in the system, you must specify the reason for giving the discounts. On this panel you enter the different codes and descriptions for the discounts that you plan to give (e.g. why or what you are giving the discounts for). You also indicate at what level the manual discount will be allowed, i.e. Sales order/Quotation Line or Header level.
These codes are used wherever manually entered discounts are allowed (i.e. Sales order level, Sales order line level, Quotation level, Quotation line level and Customer contracts). The actual discount amount or percentage is entered in the above mentioned locations.

- Level
- Mandatory entry. Indicate at what level (i.e. Sales order/Quotation Line level or Sales order/Quotation Header level), a manual discount will be allowed. For example, the user will not be allowed to enter a manual discount for a sales order line using a Sales discount ID defined for header level. This code cannot be changed if the Sales discount ID is being used in the system, nor can the Sales discount ID be deleted.
- Claimable
- This field is only displayed if the DC1 Supplier Marketing Support (SMS) application is activated. If you plan to have Customer contracts with discounts and/or allow manual entry of discounts during Sales and Quotation line entry, set this field to YES if you want to be able to claim these discounts.

Note: A discount ID that is in use in an order that is still open cannot be deleted.
