This routine prepares the transfer of the EDIFACT message INVOIC, i.e., the A/P invoices you have received via DI to DC1 Financials. The file in DC1 (SROLBA) is prepared with the A/P invoice data. This data should then be transferred via the Retrieve financial transactions routine.
The following three conditions must be met in order to be able to run this routine:
- The DI method FINEDI must be activated in the DI method table.
- The DI document INVOIC must be connected to the DI method FINEDI in Work with DI documents.
- The DI method and the DI document must be connected in the Business partner file.
The invoices will be transferred to DC1 Financials as preliminary invoices. A preliminary cost account, defined in Work with pseudo accounts, will be retrieved for the posting of the invoice. A preliminary control account will also be retrieved from Work with pseudo accounts, via the A/P group of the supplier. The VAT amount is retrieved from the DI file specified for the invoice.
If you run this routine interactively and any errors are found, then two panels can be shown. One panel with the A/P information (DI A/P invoice transfer) and one panel with VAT information (DI VAT amounts). You will then be able to correct any errors found. If the control list is ordered, all transferred invoices from the DI file to DC1’s transfer files are printed.
If you run this routine in batch mode and any errors are found, then they are printed on an error list. If the control list is ordered, all transferred invoices from the DI file to DC1’s transfer files are printed.
The DI A/P invoices will receive the identity ED in this routine. To be able to transfer the DI A/P invoices to DC1 Financials, you need, therefore, to add an interface type in Work with interface types with the value ED in the Identity field.
