Stock control label printout (DMR29501)

This program creates stock control labels from either a goods reception note or a non-conformity certificate.

In general one label will be printed for each unit of measure in which the item was ordered or rejected. For example, if 50 pieces were ordered then 50 labels will be printed and if 6 boxes were ordered then 6 labels will be printed. However, if the item is under serial number control, one label will be printed for each serial number, irrespective of the unit in which the item was ordered or rejected, and whether the serial number is set up to be printed on the label, or not.

The information that is printed on each label is controlled by a labelling code, defined in the Labelling code table.

Selection

  • Goods reception note
  • NCC number
Labelling code
Enter a code from the Labelling code table. The code holds details of the information which is to be printed on the label and whether this information is to be bar-coded as well as being in human readable format. If no labelling code is entered, the system will first look for any labelling code held against the unit in which the goods were ordered. If this is not found the default labelling code held on the DIS control file will be used.
