The item structure consists of a bill of material and a bill of routing. The bill of material defines the components that are necessary for the production of the end item or the sub-assembly item. The bill of routing defines the operations that have to be performed in order to produce the end item or the sub-assembly item. Note: You can define the item structure in another unit than the stock unit, known as Structure unit.

- Structure/Operation report (STR_REPORT):
Accessed via the Work with reports/jobs menu item. Print this report to view structure or operation lists. Note: These reports can also be printed directly from the Work with structures panel using the Print option.
