The heading of this panel differs depending on if you selected to print a quarterly or a monthly EU VAT sales report. The EU VAT quarterly or monthly sales report is one of three reports required by the EU (the other two are the Intrastat declaration and the monthly VAT declaration). The reports include all the goods and service sales transactions to other EU countries done over a quarter or month, or for an entire year.
Selection
- Trader country
- The system country is the default. If your company has a VAT registration number in another country as well, you can change this code. If not, it cannot be changed.
- Goods sales
- Indicate if goods sales transactions should be included in the report. Note that triangulation information is included in the goods sales selection and cannot be printed separately.
- Service sales
- Indicate if service sales transactions should be included in the report.
Reporting period
In the fields below you select a quarter or month number, a date range, or a period range as the reporting period. Only one of the fields below can be completed at a time.
- Year/Quarter/Month
- Mandatory entry if Only control list is NO. Enter a year and a quarter or month number. You can enter quarter number 1-5, where 5 is the code for the entire year, and you can enter month number 1-13, where 13 is the complete year.
- Voucher date
- You can only complete this field if Only control list is YES. Enter a voucher date range.
- Accounting period
- You can only complete this field if Only control list is YES.Enter an accounting period range.
- Only control list
- YES is defaulted indicating that you do not want to print an official report at the moment, only a control list. Set to NO if you want to print both a control list and an official report. Printing a control list only does not update the date of the last EU VAT sales report printout in the Work with countries program.
- Only errors
- If you are only printing a control list, indicate if it should include only the erroneous transactions. Any reported errors must be corrected before you can print an official report.
- Language
- The system language is the default, but the code can be changed.
